I have a Bachelor of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from ASU. This is an advanced genetics degree which allows me to pursue research or medical school equally.
Experience
I have just finished my first year of teaching high school science. I taught all high school grades in the subjects of Biology and Anatomy and Physiology. I have 2 1/2 years of experience in tutoring. The subjects that I have tutored and are comfortable with are college-level Biology, English, ESL and writing, Psychology, Algebra and Math. I also have 2 1/2 years of experience in working with and leading children, including working with special needs children. I have never had a complaint about my tutoring, actually in my college tutoring some of my students stayed with me even after I moved on to the university. I have the ability to help anyone understand a concept, something I learned early on in my tutoring work. It is very important for a tutor to understand that learning styles are very individualized. A tutor should be able to adjust how they explain a concept so that any student can understand, and that is exactly how I tutor.

Hobbies
Hiking but only during October-March. Otherwise it is way to hot. I also enjoy doing literature reviews, so that I can keep up with current scientific studies that I am interested in. Lately, I have picked up 2 new hobbies, running, and teaching myself piano.
