Experience
I want to be a tutor because I love helping others. I think it is important for children to get different perspectives on subjects. In my own education I have found it helpful to seek the help of others because sometimes a different point of view allows the problem or subject to make sense. I have taken honors classes since my freshman year of high school and have continued to be in honors classes throughout my college career.

Hobbies
In my free time I enjoy reading books as well as going hiking. I love all outdoor activities, but hiking is my favorite. I am a very determined person and love to help others. My college major is Nonprofit Leadership and Management and I aspire to work for Make-A-Wish once I graduate. I am very patient and creative. I am goofy, but I also know when to get down to business and be serious. I have previously worked with children ages 5-18 at my church's summer camp program. I love kids and I love when something I have taught someone finally clicks, it is an amazing feeling.
