Experience
Currently, I teach Spanish to second year and third year high school students. I also teach Spanish AP. I completed my Bachelor's in Anthropology and my Spanish minor from Arizona State University. I went on to receive a Master's Degree in Secondary Education (also from ASU). In addition to attending ASU, I went two times to Mexico to study abroad. These experiences not only helped me to improve my Spanish language skills, but instilled in me a love of the language and for everything about the Spanish culture. While I currently tutor high school students, I would love to expand and tutor others who are new to the Spanish language and want to develop their skills. My specific educational and foreign experiences help me to understand and empathize with the difficulties and trials of learning a new foreign language. I believe that I have the tools necessary to help students succeed. I am dedicated to my job and take it seriously, but I do like to facilitate a fun atmosphere where students can enjoy learning Spanish. When I am not teaching, I enjoy hiking, traveling, photography, and music. I am also a huge Arizona Cardinals fan.
