I graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a master's in social work. I am currently working toward a second master's in public administration. Over the past year, I have been working as a teacher's assistant at Arizona State University, where I prepare material, give lectures, grade assignments, and tutor students who are struggling academically.As a tutor, I strive to inspire a passion for learning within my students. I stress the importance of being able to think critically, as it will help them in their professional and personal lives. I am adept at teaching students how to improve their study habits, write essays, improve their reading comprehension, think critically, and speak publicly.I have experience working as a coordinator for a local congresswoman, which has allowed me to perfect my organizational skills as well as improve my time management. These are traits that I am eager to share with my students. In addition, I have experience in assessment and treatment within behavioral health, curriculum development, human resources, budgeting, and program evaluation.My goal is to give my students a quality education in a wide range of subjects. I am also able to adapt my lessons to find the needs of each individual learner. I am flexible and willing to accommodate my students' needs.
