Private tutor in Phoenix, AZ
Education
I graduated top of my class in high school in 1995 with a 4.25 GPA from Chaparral High School undertaking AP calculus, art, and English. I earned a full ride to the University of Arizona where I double-majored in art and architecture. Using my AP coursework I CLEP'ed out of most of my freshman year requirements, but still undertook 20 credit hours of classes -- something I needed to get approval from the Dean of Students for -- and earned a perfect 4.0.
Experience
After university, instead of pursuing architecture, I immersed myself in computers and became a internationally award-winning web developer and artist being a finalist in 3 Flash Forward events. Since 2001, I have co-owned and operated a web development company that has changed it's identity many times over to keep with current trends. During my time in high school, college, the workforce, and time as a business owner, I have helped many people learn how to break down complex subjects, and have setup workshops for my employees to understand the basics of computer programming so they can comprehend better what we do as a company. I also have an 11 year old son who operates in the 90% in standardized testing and is reading at a college level, in part I hope, because of the skills I have helped instill in him about learning and how to think critically. I feel fully qualified to help anyone young or old to discover their true potential in learning a subject: whether you are having a hard time digesting coursework, want to learn new skills, or just want to further improve the ones you are just beginning to foster, I can help you break it down into it's smaller pieces and see the greater whole.
