I earned my bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from the University of Arizona. Soon after, I obtained my Certified Public Accountant license. I now have over 25 years of experience as an accountant in both the public and private sectors. I currently teach courses at Arizona State University and its Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation in nonprofit financial management. For the past 13 years, I have served as an accountant providing services and guidance to businesses, tax-exempt institutions, and employees. I'm able to help students in a wide variety of Accounting and Business concepts, including accounting systems design, accounting practices, software, and financial management. In my spare time, I enjoy creating art, whether I'm using pen and ink, fibers, clay, or a variety of mediums. I also enjoy all things sci-fi.
