Experience
I earned my undergraduate degree in Italian language and English literature from Arizona State University. I then moved to Italy to study Italian, Latin, and Greek at the University of Padua for a year. I went on to earn my graduate degree from the University of Toronto in medieval studies and I'm currently pursuing my doctorate in the same field. As a student, I have had the opportunity to serve as a teaching assistant for history and literature courses and I love working with the students in those classes. It is a pleasure to help new students make the transition into college and to help them learn to more effectively write research papers and to expand their study and organizational skills. I currently tutor students in French 1-3, English, German, languages, Italian, social sciences, Latin 1-4, writing, phonics, comparative literature, conversational Italian, English grammar and syntax, American and European history, public speaking, world religions, government and politics, and social studies. I additionally tutor students in a similar AP and IB courses. I believe my love of learning is contagious and helps me make the most of my time with my students. I take the time to get to know each student individually in order to create the most effective and individualized learning plans possible.
