I've had a passion for teaching since I was a small child, and it's very exciting to play a positive role in helping someone have a successful future. I went to Ottawa University to earn my education degree, and I've been teaching for the past 12 years. I always wanted to go back at some point get my masters degree, so after a decade of teaching experience, I enrolled at Grand Canyon University. I earned my masters degree in educational leadership. Since then, I've switched from classroom teaching to helping aspiring teachers develop the skills they need to help learners successfully. I miss working with younger students directly, and I'm excited to tutor English, phonics, reading, grammar, ESL and English language learning, and other English subjects through the college level. When I have spare time, I enjoy traveling and exploring.
