Private tutor in Phoenix, AZ
Education
Arizona State Universtiy - Bachelors, Biological Sciences
Experience
I earned my in biological sciences degree at Arizona State University, and I'm planning to study to become a physician's assistant in the near future. As an undergraduate student, I became a writing fellow, and I was a teaching assistant for English courses online. It may seem counterintuitive for me to be a teaching assistant in English when I studied biology, but I love writing as much is I love science. I've actually written three novels, and I would love to publish them. When I work with students, I focus on helping them develop a full understanding of the fundamental ideas in the subject. Many students can get by with memorization, but it's much easier to really learn the subject and be able to apply that information whenever needed. I help students understand why concepts are important and how they're used in the real world, and this help students understand and retain information. I can tutor subjects like biology, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, cell biology, English, writing, and essays. In my spare time, I like to play video games, play board games, practice yo-yo tricks, write, and read.
