I'm a tutor with several years of experience tutoring at the high school level, extremely high standardized test scores, and the experience to provide real-world, practical examples for math and science concepts. I believe in meeting students at whatever level they're at, and that demonstrating patience and friendliness is important to effective tutoring. I've tutored in public schools for three years, helping students in groups and one-on-one with all levels of high school math (algebra I, geometry, algebra II, trig, precalc, calc, stats) and science (mostly chemistry, with some physics). I've also tutored for individual clients in physics, algebra, and statistics, and have seen students' marks improve by multiple letter grades in their math courses after getting academic support. I have also been very successful with standardized testing (SAT 2320/1520, ACT 36, GRE 340), and would be happy to work on content and strategies to help you or your child prepare.

Hobbies

I enjoy learning as well as teaching, especially languages. I speak conversational French and have studied introductory Hebrew. In my free time, I also enjoy making and listening to music - I can play several instruments, and participated in choirs throughout college. I'm good at tinkering and fixing household objects, and like to build things (related to my degree in engineering).
