I am an experienced tutor and current medical school student. I can tutor a variety of subjects including algebra, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, trigonometry, anatomy, biology, chemistry, physiology, computer science, English, biochemistry, neurobiology, neuroscience, and virology, to name a few. I'm also available to help students prepare for standardized tests like the ACT and SAT. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City and I am currently attending UMKC school of Medicine. I have worked extensively with students through various tutoring programs. I served as a tutor in UMKC's math center for two years, and I currently tutor middle school students and high school students through the UMKC Dream Project. My time working with students has given me many tools and skills that allow me to effectively help my students achieve success. As a tutor it is a privilege to witness the moment when students finally understand something that has been eluding them. I want my students to have a solid understanding of the subject we are working on so that in class or on exams they will have no difficulty recalling the information that they need to know. When I'm not studying or tutoring I enjoy dancing, reading interesting books, and writing.
