I am a student at The George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs. I am majoring in International Affairs and minoring in Spanish and Cross-Cultural Communication (Anthropology). Last fall, I had the privilege to study abroad at the Queen's University of Belfast studying Northern Irish history/politics and conflict resolution.
Experience
I was a volunteer tutor for my high school for two years and looking to resume tutoring. I am passionate about education and helping fellow students achieve their scholarly goals! My diverse coursework gives me a broad knowledge base from which I can assist the student. My philosophy for tutoring is to build confidence through collaboration. I am a very goal oriented person and will work with the student to identify areas of improvement, as well as the steps we need to take to resolve them. Three words friends and family would use to describe me are: caring, driven, and adventurous. Outside of school and work, I enjoy: rowing, singing, traveling, hiking, and reading! At home I currently have four foster kittens which are the lights of my life. After graduation I hope to either attend law school or become a Foreign Service Officer.
