Fulbright Teacher Exchange Scholarship, 2011 State Silver Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching, 2002 I had the privilege of teaching English in Mexico with a Fulbright Teacher Exchange Scholarship for fall semester, August - November, 2011. Students would often come to me during the school day for help with their English classes, whether they were my students or not, because I'm a native English speaker.
