I am a Phoenix native. After finishing high school in 2007, I received a scholarship to Arizona State University and earned a B.S. in Kinesiology. I am actively applying to pharmacy schools and currently work as a tutor in biology and chemistry for Paradise Valley Community College. My early years at Arizona State University were spend with an undeclared major, but that changed when I took anatomy and physiology and fell in love. ASU does not have a degree program in physiology so I decided to study kinesiology, which is the study of human movement. Additionally, I also fell in love with and took more than twenty credits in chemistry. I find it fascinating how these subjects apply to everyday life and enjoy helping students apply what they learn to real life. I receive great satisfaction from helping youth succeed in their academic goals. I also spend time volunteering at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America every week and help feed those who are less-fortunate at St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank. When I'm not helping others or tutoring, I stay active by working out and running and watching sports. Go Suns and Cardinals!
