Experience
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Astrophysics and Planetary Science from Harvard University. Once I graduated with my degree, I began working full-time in NYC at a laboratory in Columbia University as a baccalaureate researcher. I am currently attending Arizona State University, working towards my PhD in Exploration Systems Design. The first time I tutored was in high school, and I have been continuously tutoring for almost a decade now. I have experience tutoring students in many different levels of Math, including the undergraduate and elementary student levels. I have also tutored some students in astronomy at the college level. I find Calculus to be one of my most exciting subjects to tutor since I find the principles to be exciting to both teach and learn. Other than tutoring, I have worked as a teaching assistant in the Mathematics Department at Harvard University. I strongly believe that any student can learn the concepts and principles of mathematics. I also honestly believe that there is no such thing as a "mathematics person." Once a person finds the right person who can explain the concepts, anyone can enjoy it. Although I enjoy tutoring, I also have other pursuits. I like flying airplanes, playing golf, martial arts, and writing screenplays.
