I'm a math tutor who discovered my love of the subject as a high school student. I had the opportunity to take finite math, a college level course, and I loved it. I went to Elmira College to earn degrees in philosophy and math, intent on the idea of becoming a teacher and mathematician. I then got a job as a teacher for a private boarding school. I now have three years teaching math at the high school level under my belt, along with six years tutoring high school and college level students in math topics. I love math, and I'm looking forward to helping students learn calculus one through three, statistics, algebra, foundational elementary and middle school math topics, and pre-calculus. I can also help students prepare for AP math exams and other standardized tests. When I have free time, I enjoy wood carving, swing dancing, and Dr. Who.
