I have 17 years of high school classroom teaching experience grades 9-12. I am certified for grades 7-12 in English and grades K-12 for reading. I have tutored throughout my teaching career predominantly for writing and for standardized tests. These tests include CA High School Exit Exam, AIMS, PARC, and ACT/SAT. I want to be a tutor to help young people be better prepared for college, test taking, and graduation requirements. I have taken professional growth classes on ACT/SAT, and AIMS testing. I have also tutored for both tests. I have attended academic decathlon essay grading to keep current with rubric grading.
