I have been teaching Chemistry and Physics for over eight years at the Advanced Placement level. I have taught college and I am, at present, the instructor of a physics class that is held online. I have a Medical Physics MS from Georgia Institute of Technology. I use the Socratic method of teaching and guide my students through problem sets and the basic principles of each subject. I find that often the trouble a pupil might have with a difficult concept stems from a weakness of understanding in an earlier, more basic concept. Math and science build upon themselves and care must be taken to fully understand their foundations. I use different methods and styles of teaching which are dictated by the student's needs. I truly enjoy teaching. I believe patience is the biggest aid a teacher can provide a pupil and I will review material over and over until it has been mastered. I use multiple memory aids to help a student keep track of their information. I can teach you or your student Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Anatomy, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Earth Science, Physical Science, Science, General Chemistry, and Advanced Placement Chemistry.When I'm not teaching or studying I like to read, cook, study astronomy, and watch softball.
