In the past, I have tutored various subjects but am most experienced with English, writing, reading, grammar, and speaking. I can help in anything from history and social studies to college essays. Every student should be able to read and write well, if they expect to adequately prepare for college or apply for a job. I have also spent some time tutoring special needs children. This requires extra attention and patience so you can see I am a very patient teacher and will work with you until you get things right.I have a Bachelor of Arts in English, and an honors certificate, from the University of Idaho. I worked in the university's writing center during the last two semesters before my graduation and gained some valuable experience. During this time, I worked with students at all levels and provided help with their grammar, proofreading, clarity, organization, and essay planning. Now I live in Phoenix, Arizona. I enjoy tutoring very much and do so as often as I can. In my spare time, I like to cook and try new recipes, browse around in bookstores (until I find that next favorite book), write, and play the guitar and piano.
