I am a tutor who believes each one of my students requires a unique approach, and I create individualized plans based on what will be of greatest benefit to the student. Nothing makes me feel better than watching my students blossom and grow as they learn new things!I have worked as a middle school teacher for a decade, focusing on Language Arts. I have also held various other positions during my time as a teacher, including a cheer coach, mentor teacher and a student council advisor. Working in these positions has really influenced me as a tutor, and I approach all of my students with a caring, positive attitude.I am able to tutor my students in a wide variety of subjects, including Elementary to Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Reading, Writing, Literature, Essay Editing, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, ESL/ELL, Spanish, SSAT, and Test Prep, as well as summer tutoring. I earned my bachelor's from Arizona State University, and recently graduated from Northern Arizona University, earning my master's in Education.When I'm not working, I love to spend time with my husband and daughters, watch movies, and find new ideas on Pinterest. My favorite sport of all time to watch is football, and I love spending time with family and catching the game on TV. I also enjoy reading when I can fit it in.
