Intriguing stories in books, films, and music keep me motivated and entertained outside of work. Art plays an important part in my life, and I like to think that my love of it factors into my teaching by helping me devise creative solutions to facilitate learning. Furthermore, I come with a whole lot of unusual experiences that make me a viable tutor. In addition to graduating from Williams College with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, my job history includes working as a solar panel installer, a sous chef at a well-known restaurant, and the manager of an organic farm. I even began my own music co-operative. My interests range from getting my hands dirty to balancing the books. I really believe all of these parts of my life allow me to work with the varied learning styles of students. I juggle their various needs with ease.The subjects I work with prove as varied as my interests, but my favorite subjects to work with include English, history, literature, philosophy, and Spanish. I even spent time studying philosophy in Argentina so my Spanish surpasses textbook knowledge. I believe that education elevates even the most practical endeavors, and serves as a precursor to success.
