I'm a Phoenix, Arizona native who received her educational credentials from the University of Phoenix. Upon graduation, I worked as an educator teaching students from the pre-school through high school levels. I gained experience tutoring while working with students during school breaks and after classes. As an educator, I work to find effective ways to work with a child based on their personal style. I've had the greatest success using a hands-on teaching method. My pupils find me a teacher they can rely on and who has good organizational skills. I'm expert at tutoring math, English, reading, writing, phonics, and grammar. Helping students learn to organize themselves and develop good study skills is another specialty. I've achieved success preparing pupils for standardized tests such as the SSAT, HSPT, and ISEE. I know bullying can have devastating effects on students, so I spend time working with anti-bullying programs. My favorite pastimes are sports and Zumba.
