I enjoy tutoring many subjects, especially History and Math. They are my favorite courses to help students with, because they are often the most difficult subjects for many to master. I also like to tutor Spanish I, Spanish II, and Biology, and preparing students for the SAT and ACT. When working with a new student, I create a unique, custom study plan that I then use to help us get as much work done in each and every session. Each plan is tailored to a student's unique learning style. I am a current student at the University of Houston, and I am working toward bachelor's degrees in both Biology and History.In my spare time, I am an avid reader, and you can often find me curled up with a great book. I make long lists of must-read books, and I then work on tackling the list. I am currently working on a list of 20. I also enjoy studying and reading in coffee shops, because as a past barista, I love the atmosphere. My newest hobby is Bikram yoga, often called "hot yoga," which I find very relaxing.
