While attending Arizona State University I tutored children with learning disabilities from kindergarten through sixth grade. I am very patient with kids and adapt my teaching style to meet the child's demands so that they can fully understand the material I am teaching them. I promote creative thinking which enables kids to actually understand the concepts I am teaching them and not just the basic steps to figure out a problem. I want the children I tutor to learn the joy of being better educated. Showing kids just enough so they can past their tests is not a real form of teaching to me and if you are looking for that type of tutor than I will not be the right choice for you or your child.
