I’m an excellent writer and have written legislation and provided research assistance to municipalities and public agencies in the way of producing qualitative and quantitative data analysis reports. As for tutoring, I’ve independently supplied proofreading support to individuals and have helped elementary and high school students with the composition of essays and reports in addition to preparation for civics and social studies exams. I believe that every student has their own style of learning, and as a tutor, step one is for me to determine what that is. With a background in public affairs, and having worked in politics, I thoroughly enjoy tuning in to documentaries on history and social issues, and I love watching Ted Talks online. My weekends are often spent frequenting garage sales and thrift stores in search of hidden gems that I can sell online! I also like attending events such as monthly art walks and food festivals and I take pleasure in being surrounded by nature. Weather permitting, hiking on local trails and going up to the mountains to snowshoe during the winter is by far the most awesome way for me to spend my free time.
