I hold a BA degree in mathematics. While in college, I took a variety of courses. Linear Algebra, Calculus, Number Theory, Geometry, Physics, Beginning Java, and Chemistry were just some of the many subjects that I studied during my time in school. It took a lot of hard work, but I really enjoy my studies, because I love math! I hope to take the skills that I have learned with me to help other people with their own needs. I think tutoring would be a great introduction to becoming a teacher.I have worked with students to help them prepare for the Elementary Teacher Certification test. We focused on preparing for the mathematics portion of the exam. I have also helped my fellow peers with their homework and have helped them better learn their science and math course information. I can help with elementary level through college level math courses. I also do well teaching others physics and chemistry.When I'm not studying math or helping others with their needs, you can find me watching basketball. I also like to play the piano. I want to reach more education goals that I have and hope to get an MA in mathematics. I am excited to see how I can help even more students reach their goals.
