I hold a bachelors degree in Education from the University of Arizona and I am certified as a highly qualified teacher by the state of Arizona. I have 42 hours of post graduate work, many of which are in the field of teaching mathematics. The focus of my career for the last 12 years has been teaching math to fifth through eighth graders.
Experience
I have been a teacher in the public schools for 27 years. I have taught everything from first grade to eighth grade. My last three years, I taught eighth grade pre-algebra. Currently, I am tutoring math students that range from third grade to algebra 1. I enjoy tutoring because I like the one-on-one setting that enables me to focus in on the exact needs of one student at a time.
