I have tutored in the past, but currently teach 2nd grade. I have worked with students at a kindergarten-4th grade level in my classroom, teaching summer school, and though after school tutoring. I am extremely confident in my ability to set up a plan for your family that will jump start your child's success. I am most interested and most effective in math and reading instruction, but I am comfortable with all elementary subjects. My school recognizes me as a "highly effective" teacher. So far this year my students have grown, on average, 1 year in reading (in 2.5 months, and just short of 1 year in math.) I believe this extraordinary growth is achieved through the individualized plans that I develop for each child. I look forward to connecting your child to their strengths and developing their rough patches.
