Experience
I graduated with a bachelor's degree in molecular biology from Colorado College in 2014. Since then, I've been tutoring and working towards entering an MD program at various medical schools across the country. One of my biggest passions in life has been teaching students and inspiring them to do better in the classroom. I have experience tutoring a number of topics, including standardized tests and college entrance exams, to subjects like English, math, and science. One of the major reasons why I love teaching is because it gives me the chance to make a positive difference in people's lives. My experience has also helped me understand that everyone has their own preferred learning styles, and that the best way for a teacher to reach a student is to customize each lesson to suit the specific needs of the student. Along with teaching and tutoring, I also help college-bound students prepare mentally and academically for exams by covering study material, as well as teaching test-taking strategies and helping them improve their organizational skills. I am dedicated to helping each and every pupil prepare for success inside the classroom, as well as out in the real world, and I look forward to working with anyone interested in growing as a student.
