I have five years of experience as a teacher, and I focus on helping students develop critical thinking and writing skills. I have a bachelor's degree in history from Ohio State University, and I continued on at the same school to earn my social studies for secondary education graduate degree. I believe every student can learn successfully if they have the proper resources and the will to succeed. I enjoy helping students become confident in their abilities as learners and people, which allows me to assist students in realizing their full academic potential. In addition to writing and English, I can tutor history, politics, math through algebra, economics, geography, and test preparation. In my free time, I enjoy writing and playing music, collecting records, and traveling. I love all of these activities, and I want to bring my energy and enthusiasm to students to help them learn history and become better writers.
