Previous tutoring experience at Yavapai Community College, where I tutored both math and Chemistry. My studies at ASU in the Education program have provided me with useful skills that help me connect with students. It is not always enough to simply be an expert in your field, good teachers also have to learn ‘how to teach,’ and I have dedicated myself to applying the art of good teaching to my fields of expertise. Have taught/CO-taught Biology, anatomy, exercise physiology at Desert Vista High school, Mountain Pointe High school, and Peoria Middle school. Taught general science to grades 2-5 at Peoria Middle school. Have experience with tutoring students of all ages, elementary age to Adult learners.
