Experience

Summer internship as peer language assistant to ESL students from a variety of countries and at varying levels, and classroom assistant for a communications course for a semester. I have taken many hours of English literature classes, as well as courses in English linguistics, the history of English and methods of second language acquisition specific to teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language (ESL/EFL). Additionally, I am highly proficient in Spanish and have taken and am taking advanced classes in order to complete my minor, though I have been taking university level courses in the language since age 15.
