I'm a tutor who is currently based in Phoenix, Arizona, where I enjoy traveling, reading, and volunteering when I'm not working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in geography from the University of Nevada-Reno, as well as my master's degree in geography from Kansas State University. As a tutor, I'm able to provide lessons in a variety of subject areas including French, reading, writing, math, and geography. I've worked in both the federal and state government for over 30 years, where I've been able to utilize my extensive knowledge in the fields of geography and mathematics. My specialties are physical, urban, and regional geography. As a tutor, I've worked with students on their French language skills at the university level. I've also taught a French course at a charter school here in Phoenix. I'm extremely passionate about sharing my love for the subjects of French, geography, and math with others. One reason I love tutoring is because I love helping people. There's nothing quite like the feeling I get when I can help a student finally have a breakthrough moment in a subject that they've been struggling with for awhile.
