I am a former university professor and current high school teacher who specializes in English writing and composition, American & African American literature, SAT & ACT preparation, college and graduate school admissions, job application writing, and business writing. I can tutor students in all high school English classes and can help with college-level writing, college admissions preparation, and college-level English classes. I tutor mainly in the Paradise Valley, Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Mesa/Gilbert areas.

I have a Ph.D. in English and composition from Emory University and over ten years of college preparation/admissions tutoring experience. I am also an expert in high school writing assignments.
