Private tutor in Phoenix, AZ
University of Arizona - BS, Mathematics - Education
It was while I was studying at the University of Arizona that I realized my love of math, which brought me to the decision to move towards becoming a math teacher. I actually began tutoring math to students ranging in age from seven to twenty-one while I was a freshman in high school. I not only have a personal love for science and math, but I have a love for sharing my love for academics with my students.I look forward to the moments when my students suddenly understand the material. That moment where their brain goes from utter confusion to understanding and pride is very rewarding for me. I tutored through private high schools and I am currently privately tutoring chemistry and math for students at the University of Arizona. My degree is in math with an emphasis in education. This is because I want to someday become a teacher in a high school. I would like to later become a professor in a college. Some of the subjects that I do well in include geometry, statistics, chemistry, trigonometry, competition math, science, and all levels of algebra and calculus. When I have free time, I find a lot of enjoyment in volleyball, baking, and biking.
