Bachelor's in Liberal Studies, California State University, Northridge, 2010 Complete education listed at Also educated at the school of hard knocks; and life wisdom counts more in my book than all the academic training in the world.

I have been tutoring since 2011 but have recently been focusing primarily on writing books exploring the interplay between the Great Books, especially nonfiction, and modern European history. I have forewords to the volumes from Andrew Rosen (CEO and Chairman of Kaplan), John Hillis (Senior VP in the BASIS.ed charter system), and Dan Scoggin (Founder of the Great Hearts Academies), and my goal is to get them into every high school history classroom in the United States and even in Europe, as well as to have them converted into documentary television series. I scored 168, 168, 5.5 on the GRE when I took it in July of 2012. My SAT Math was 760 and my SAT Subject Math IIC was 780, I scored a 5 on the AP Calculus AB exam and 4 on both United States and European History.

I love to play basketball, I'm a passably good shooter but prefer to set the other guys up; I am also a gifted chess player. I enjoy bowling, watching movies (especially classic ones), listening to music (favorite genres are classical and country), and reading--I have a library with close to 1000 volumes.
